Erudite Description
Erudite is an event company that provides clients with strategic and creative event planning in the United Arab Emirates. The company name, Erudite, is originated from the latin word, Eruditus, which directly translates to an individual who contains a lot of knowledge. Erudite aims to create memorable events that addresses controversial global issues. Our brand focuses on contributing to the wider communities concerns, and queries as we believe there is no other brand in the UAE that does so. We provide in depth analysis and understanding of the event market as well as research and development on the respected topic.
Our mission can therefore be condensed into three main points:

To provide participating students a valuable educational activity with a primary emphasis on intercollegiate debate competition.

To present public debates, host debate competitions and instructional institutes, and to expose the University and the surrounding community to the democratizing and dialectical educational benefits of debate.

To offer debate activities which improve critical thinking, research skills, ethical argumentation, advocacy, analysis, persuasion, oral presentation, listening, organization, teamwork, group problem solving, citizenship, and leadership.

Erudite is currently hosting an event for the Canadian University of Dubai, in which 6 individuals will debate against and for the motion on whether Electronic Media is making us more or less illiterate. The event targets both internal and external college students, professors, and parents as electronic devices are used by all demographics in their daily life.
