SITUATION ANALYSIS
 

This situation analysis starts with the environment of where The Canadian University Dubai stands when having to launch a new department in 2022 which is the Music and Dramatic Arts department which will have many different programs underneath the school itself.

The Musical and Dramatic Arts Departments' most favorable internal factor is that it will be amongst the first universities that have a full department in this field and a bachelor's degree. Coordinating with Canadian universities to transfer students from the first semester and having less hierarchy management which spends much less time for decision making. Some external factors or opportunities including Dubai being the first university in Dubai Fi

having a bachelor’s degree in the music and dramatic arts department. Also, being able to understand the development of Art vs economic trends is another opportunity in the economical external factor. Just as we have internal factor strengths, we have internal factor weaknesses just like having a management that is unfamiliar in this field itself. Also, by offering a new department which makes it harder to accommodate to.
